SMOKED RHIZOME

Smoked Rhizome is a found object transformed. An existing teak root is cut to form a console, which is then embedded with a natural charred pigment that saturates the wood with a smoky metallic black. The result is a mysterious and unique sculptural object produced in limited quantities.
